Nolan and I spent the early morning outside enjoying the spring weather before the storms moved in. Nolan drug along his new little rake and spade.
The below is my favorite from the morning. We were down by his Great-Grandpa's garden, and Nolan was "barking" with the neighbor dogs down the hill. Nolan can also Moo and Neigh. It's simply adorable!
Here's some of the peach tree in bloom. I'm so glad to have taken some photos of it before they are gone.
Here's our neighbor's pear tree. Looking forward to eating some of those pears later in the year.
Love this photo of Nolan, too. Spade and rake in hand, heading down the street. We live on a dead end street with very little traffic which is only reason I would allow him to walk on the road like this.
Apple Tree.
We love to look at our neighbor's pond. We like to look for geese or ducks. There were none today.
We have a pond in our back pasture but it's an 1/8 of the size of this one. Nolan is impressed by the amount of water in this one. :)
One of Nolan's favorite pastimes, swinging.
Watching the Moo Cows, as we call them, grazing on the hill.
When the rain came later that day, Nolan and I spent much of our time between the front windows and the french doors. We had the windows open to listen to the rain and to smell its freshness. I love spring. I love cleansing rains. I love how the trees get wet and dark, and the new little leaves are such a light, vibrant green color. It's all so beautiful.
